About This Tour

Make Margaret River Touring effortless.

Start with a chocolate tasting (coffee available) before taking in coastal views, climatic insights and seasonal whale watching (June–Oct, sightings not guaranteed).

The highlight of the day is our BLIND TASTING EXPERIENCE: A Guided Wine Dissection. Using our simplifying Tasting Technique and Template (+ongoing access), you'll make your own tasting notes and find it easy to identify advanced colours, aromas, and flavours. This process makes describing wine easy and fun, and you’ll gain ongoing knowledge to confidently evaluate any wine, in any setting.

Lunch follows at Olio Bello, with woodfired pizzas, salads, wine and olive oil + skincare sampling. The afternoon consists of tastings at two boutique wineries and a scenic vineyard for glass of wine and cheeseboard, concluding with a brewery visit.

Gabriel Chocolate specialises in single-origin chocolate. At its Wilyabrup location, visitors can taste a range of flavours, from creamy milk, to intense 99% darks. A morning coffee is also available from their local cafe.

Look over the South-West’s rugged cliffs, turquoise waves crashing against the rocky shore, and surfers catching breaks in the distance.

The viewing point is a prime opportunity to spot whales during their miratory period (July to late October).

Olio Bello features both lunch and a unique Blind Tasting Experience.

A unique Blind Tasting Experience invites guests to explore and differentiate between the elements of three distinct wines. Participants gain insights into recognising unique flavours, textures, and aromas of each. Enhancing their ability to identify the qualities they enjoy most in their own favourite wines.

Lunch at Olio Bello features gourmet wood-fired pizzas topped with local ingredients, fresh seasonal salads, and a glass of wine from the Blind Tasting Experience. This dining experience celebrates Mediterranean flavours with a focus on quality and freshness, all set in the scenic olive groves.

  • Any behaviour that endangers or disrupts other guests, members of the public, or venue staff will not be tolerated. Passengers may be removed from the tour if necessary.
  • If a passenger is removed from the tour, Waves of Wine Tours is not responsible for any associated transport or accommodation costs.
  • Guests are encouraged not to consume alcohol within 8 hours prior to pick-up.
  • If a passenger displays signs of intoxication at any point: • They may be asked to take a break from tastings • In serious cases, they may be removed from the tour
